The Mountain Bike hub
In the last few years new tracks have been formed that with Albert Town at the hub. Fishermans track heads up the river to the Lake Outlet, the newly formed Upper Clutha track takes walkers/bikers down the river to Luggate. On the far side of the river there is a specialty mountain bike track that extends up to the lake and the newly formed Hawea River Track makes it possible to bike from Albert Town lodge to Lake Hawea all on well formed tracks. Albert Town
Albert Town has a small town relaxed atmosphere about it. Across the road from the lodge is the Albert Town Tavern and Albert Town shop for your conveniance. There is a local playground and tennis courts in Albert Town and if you need to go into Wanaka it is a short drive.
