About your hosts at Albert town lodge, Wanaka

Guest’s arriving at Albert Town Lodge receive a warm welcome from hosts Darryl & Tania Frisby. The long time Wanaka locals make the most of the alpine environment and sunny climate that draws visitors here, whether it’s whitebaiting, fishing and boating in the nearby rivers and lakes, hunting or 4WD expeditions.

Let’s not forget a long time passion for Ford V8 supercars! Visit them around Bathurst time, and you’ll find a lot of blue around the Frisby household. They even have a cat called Ford, who along with their black lab Ridgie often comes out to welcome guests.

Both Darryl and Tania enjoy having a good old yarn with people from all over the world and enjoy showing them around their backyard of beautiful Central Otago.

Tania has spent the last eight years in the Wanaka hospitality industry and Darryl is a stonemason and plasterer. Both also enjoy gardening and keeping the accommodation grounds at the lodge in good shape for their guests.

Just ask if you want a bit of local’s advice or if you want to know more about the busy Wanaka activities calendar.
